Organic Compost
Paranui organics 2006 has been brewing organic compost since April 2006, recyclng green waste from meat processing plants (paunch grass). We then blend this with untreated sawdust, shavings and mulches for the carbon.
This is then mixed, turned, and aged into Organic Compost. When the compost is mature we then do grow trials for every batch and it is then tested by Hill Laboratories. This process usually takes between 12 to 18 months ensuring that it has developed a stable environment for plants to go directly into the soil, with out being too volitile.
Because the organic compost has good bacteria and fungi feeding the plants naturally, it makes the plant stronger and healthier, therefore less likely to be attacked by nasty desease or fungi. 100% weed free.
Garden and Vege Mix
60% Organic Compost, 35% aged bark fines, 5% pumice plus Tui organic slow release fertiliser.
Our garden mix has been developed as an all round compomnent for use in household gardens. With the mix of aged bark fines, pumice and organic compost it adds density that allows the plant roots more air space and will retain more moisture.
Because the organic compost has good bacteria and fungi feeding the plants naturally, it makes the plant stonger and healthier, therefore less likely to be attached by nasty disease or fungi. All our products have come from well known sources that is clear of pesticides and herbisides.
Lawn Mix
50% Washed sand, 25% Organic Compost, 25% aged bark fines and a special organic slow release granule fertilizer.
This mix gives you a fine texture that allows you to level of the surface with ease to give you a lovely flat lawn.
With the washed sand added to the mix, it gives you good media for drainage stopping puddles forming. The fertilizer has six months duration of release for greener grass.
Aged Bark Mulch
A simple mulch made from untreated pinus radiata as a good attractive budget ground cover. Good for weed suppressant and moisture retention. It takes a good 18-24 months to biodegrade back into the soil.
